Ms. Johnson is a Certified Business Intermediary as designated by the International Business Brokers Association.  She is the owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Austin, Inc. Launched in November 1998, the Austin Sunbelt office has become one of the leading brokerage firms in Central Texas.  Ms. Johnson has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience, both as an award-winning sales professional for three Fortune 100 companies and as co-owner of a Austin-based telecommunications equipment company.  Ms. Johnson has experience representing companies with revenue up to $23,000,000.  She has consulted on hundreds of deals, and her expertise spans a broad range of industries and deal complexities.  Ms. Johnson also facilitates negotiation development programs for a handful of large corporate clients, both in the U.S. and abroad. Ms. Johnson has served as the President of the Austin chapter of the Texas Association of Business Brokers. She has three grown sons and lives in Austin.

Wendy Schneider has over 19 years experience in small business ownership and senior management positions. She owned and operated several companies including a mail order computer peripheral company with sales in excess of $10 million dollars. Prior to joining Sunbelt, Wendy also was responsible for a $1M budget for operations and facilities management with a high-tech company in Austin.
With her experience as a business owner, Wendy has a unique knowledge of the day-to-day operations of small businesses, positioning herself to understand the challenges business owners might face when the time comes to sell their business and how to manage the transaction successfully. Mrs. Schneider is also a licensed real estate agent.

Jeff Rabkin brings over 35 years of business administration and management skills to the Sunbelt team. After college, Mr. Rabkin joined a multi-million dollar corporation. As Vice President, he was responsible for sales, advertising, and launching of the largest trade show of its kind in that market. In 1987 Mr. Rabkin moved to Austin, and from that period to now he has bought, operated, and sold several local businesses. His diverse business experience includes industries such as commercial printing, office supplies, wholesale automotive products, water purification, advertising specialties, and signage. He has also owned and managed commercial real estate in Austin.    As an entrepreneur, Mr. Rabkin has had many “hands-on” successful experiences with mergers and acquisitions. His broad range of proved success in business enables him to assist both buyers and sellers to achieve a successful and mutually beneficial ownership transfer. Mr. Rabkin and his wife, Marilyn,  live in Austin.

Brent Hiller has been a business owner for over 30 years, including twenty-plus years in the automotive industry as the owner of several automotive parts and service companies and Chevrolet, Dodge, and Chrysler dealerships. He also owned a Yamaha motorcycle dealership.  After selling his businesses he became a business consultant to business owners in the industry, and then turned to advising buyers and sellers, with special expertise in automotive and related industries.   In addition to facilitating the sale of his own companies, Brent has several years of experience representing sellers and assisting buyers in a broad range of business types.  He applies his skill of building relationships and solving problems to dealmaking, to find value and create deals that work for all parties.  Brent holds a Texas real estate license and recently returned to Austin where he enjoys being close to kids and grandkids.

R.W. “Rich” Baier is a retired professional Chemical Engineer. Rich has managed engineering projects in excess of 100 million dollars and was the Operations Manager for a company with over 200 employees. He has eigbht years experience as a business broker and is the only original Sunbelt broker on the Houston team. Rich did take a two year leave to attend to two businesses and rental property he owns. He’s back now and anxious to assist you in either selling or buying a business. Rick, has been active in assisting small business owners in obtaining permits and licenses such as liquor, used card dealers, freight haulers, day care, food service, tobacco, lottery, etc., both at the state, county and city level.
